The project goal was to enable a realistic virtual sneaker try-on experience using Unity, Vuforia (marker-based tracking), and custom 3D models — while integrating UI interfaces built in Figma. Post-MVP Development Workflow 1. Transition to Marker-Based AR (Vuforia) After completing the MVP (which used tap-to-place interaction), I changed to marker-based AR using Vuforia. This enabled more consistent positioning ...

The app consists of the following pages: Welcome Page, 5 Onboarding Pages, Login, Sign Up, Homepage, Search, Search Result, Game Description, Cart, Payment, and Payment Successful. HomePage Set Ups At the beginning, I struggled with layout setup because I initially placed everything in a single Column, which made the Rows unresponsive. After some trial...

To achieve this, we chose ARKit for our final product instead of Vuforia, so that we could go fully markerless and provide a smoother user experience. The core feature is built using Unity’s AR Foundation, which automatically runs on ARKit when build and run on iOS devices. This enables plane detection, raycasting, and real world tracking for the AR sneaker placement and interaction f...
